Important Notice: Siesta Retirement Village, Inc. is a non-profit corporation owned by its shareholders who are the property owners in our village. Our village is comprised of 402 mobile home sites for both permanent and seasonal residents. Our association consists of owners/members who either have title to their mobile home and lot or own a mobile home on leased land. Ownership in Siesta Retirement Village is subject to annual Association dues and Shareholder Fees, as well as Association Covenants and By-laws. All residents are bound by the Covenants & By-laws which are filed with the State and available to all residents. The Covenants and By-laws are also on our website.

In part, said Covenants & By-laws require that owner must be 55 years of age or older and no children under 18. Board approval may be required for prospective owners and renters & proof of age must be provided.  Most lots are titled property to the homeowner and subject to property taxes. All homes are permanent homes. Drivable RVs can be in the village on a short-term basis to be unloaded or loaded but they are not allowed in the village on a permanent basis—either in the village or in a driveway. We pay real estate taxes to the Hidalgo County and the village roads are county roads.   We have some rental mobile homes owned and operated by private individuals. The village has a social board that runs numerous fund-raising initiatives to defray our operating costs & overhead. Our residents are encouraged to assist and participate in these activities to help defray our operating costs. 

SRV Properties LLC is a real estate company that provides opportunities for mobile home owners to list their properties for sale in our village. A home owner can also choose a different real estate company or list their home privately. Anyone wishing further information about the village, properties for sale or references/information on rentals, should contact the office administrator or Board member.
